Thoughts Drapery by Vsevolod Shvaiba


      9 March - 4 May 2017 exhibition hall of the Information and Cash Centre. Exhibition by a modern painter Vsevolod Shvaiba. 
      The exposition consists of about 20 paintings and graphic works which show the richness of colours and reveal the diverse surrealistic fantasy of the author. The works are dedicated to philosophical reflections on the world of human feelings. The compositions represented in the project are dreams, meditative and unhurried. They possess the enchanting rhythm, the fascinating music, as if it was pulsing inside each painting. They enchant and involve the viewers into their space. Seeking the interconnection between the spiritual and physical worlds the painter compares the human thoughts with the fabric fluttering in the breeze …
      Vsevolod Shvaiba’s artistic path began in Minsk art lyceum-school №26. In the year 2001 he became a laureate of the 7th International Arts and Music Contest, Takasaki. In 2006 graduated from the Belarusian State Academy of Arts. From the year 2006 until now Vsevolod Shvaiba works in the State Institute of Management and Social Technologies of the BSU. In the year 2007 he entered the Graphics Department of the Creative Workshops of the Painting, Graphics, and Sculpture. Since the year 2008 the artist has been a member of the youth section of the Belarusian Union of Artists. He has had his exhibitions in Belarus and abroad.

      Works by Vsevolod Shvaiba are kept in the funds of the National Art Museum of the Republic of Belarus as well as in private collections.
