Exhibition Colours of Inspiration
8 November - 20 December 2017, exposition centre of the Information and Cash Centre. Exhibition Colours of Inspiration by Darya Vasilievna Sumareva-Kopach.
Darya was born on the 15th of July 1977 in the family of a painter, Vasili Sumarev. Her talent, her parents’ encouragement and desire to be a painter – it all played a crucial role in Darya’s life. In 1990 she entered Achremchyk Belarusian Art Gymnasia and finished it in 1995. But she didn’t rest on her laurels and graduated from the Belarusian State Academy of Arts in 2002.
Today Darya is a member of the Belarusian Union of Artists and a teacher of Minsk children’s art school number 3. She is an active participant of numerous republican and international contests and plein air paintings.
Once inspired by the beauty of the field and garden flowers the painter has created a series of works dedicated to these plants. The lush bouquets consist of delicate camomiles and cornflowers, naughty blue bells and fragile pea flowers, strict milfoil flowers and sunny tansies.
The author has created a harmonious composition inspired by nature. The still-lifes are filled with light and air, they are not overloaded, and the background is neutral and pure. Phloxes, lilies, lilacs, and peonies play solo parts in this festive summer concert. Darya’s paintings are the true festival of bright colours and juicy shades.
