Belarusian Landscape

 Belarusian Landscape

From November 3, 2023 to January 31, 2024, the exhibition hall of the Information and Tour services department of the National Historical and Cultural Museum-Reserve Niasvizh presents a temporary exhibition of works by Andrei Zhdanovich under the title Belarusian Landscape.

The exhibition presents works that reveal the theme of pristine Belarusian nature. The artist is inspired by the view of landscape beauty, and then transfers his impressions and experiences to the canvas. The works are made in the wet technique of watercolour, when the paint is applied to paper moistened with water. This technique requires the artist's accuracy in the choice of colour and tone, because there is no way to correct the drawing, as it remains in development process until it is completely dry. Andrey Zhdanovich's watercolours are excellent in colour, simplicity and rich in the semantic content of the plot.
