Colorful Strokes on Textile
From December 1, 2022 to February 15, 2023, the exhibition hall of the Information and Tour Services Department of the National Historical and Cultural Museum-Reserve Niasvizh presents a temporary exhibition of works by Yulia Mordvanyuk under the title Colorful Strokes on Textile.
Julia is an apprentice to famous Belarusian artists, a graduate of the Akhremchik College Of Arts of the Belarusian State Academy of Arts, specialising in arts and crafts. Since 2015, she has been a member of the section of young artists and art critics of the public association Belarusian Union of Artists. Since 2007, Julia has been actively participating in city, national, international exhibitions, competitions, festivals, as well as in numerous plein air events. Her works were published in the publication The Light of My Motherland, in the educational newspaper Kultura, in booklets, catalogues of exhibitions of the Belarusian Union of Artists. She was awarded various diplomas, gratitudes, and honorary certificates.
Julia Mordvanyuk is an artist of decorative and applied art, and a teacher. The exhibition presents works in various techniques of artistic textiles - tapestry, batik, art weaving, felt weaving, as well as a series of still-life paintings. Such a variety of creative works, as well as themes, is the result of interesting activities and creative efforts of the Author. Much attention is paid to the plot of the composition, the texture and the color scheme in determining the artwork themes.
