The Diverse World of Masks
24 October 2018 — 15 February 2019 the National Historical-Cultural Museum and Reserve Niasvizh presents works by a Ukrainian artist and designer of Venice masks Marina Lapa at the exhibition «The Diverse World of Masks». Marina Lapa is a graduate of Kiev Theatre University. She travels around the world a lot learning the history of masks, culture and art of various peoples of the world. For about 20 years Marina has been making unique Venice masks. Exclusive models are worked out and brought to life by Marina on her own. Her works can be found in private collections of the Ukraine, Italy, Great Britain, Russia, and the USA.
The Small Exhibition Hall will present more than 50 masks which have been made using Italian leather, fine lace, exotic bird feathers, gold leaf, painting, and Swarovski rhinestones.
