«THREE CENTURIES OF THE RUSSIAN ROMANCE»

The Russian romance is a special genre that requires the beauty of voice as well as the ability to tell, or rather to live in a few minutes a love story or, sometimes, a whole lifetime story.

The winner of the 1st prize at the Russian Romance International Competition in Tallinn in 2019 mezzo-soprano NATALIA AKININA has perfectly mastered this art. The singer renders all shades of feelings, and all subtle movements of the soul. In a duet with the famous Belarusian pianist TATIANA STARCHENKO, who presents the program and creates an indescribable atmosphere of the concert «THREE CENTURIES OF THE RUSSIAN ROMANCE», she will perform classical romances of the 19th century, urban romances of the early 20th century and modern romances that preserve this amazing and unique tradition.
